Community Foundation Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Directors
The Community Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of three exceptional new members to our Board of Directors. At our recent Annual General Meeting, we welcomed Raha Mosca, Ken Pike, and Serene Allen, each bringing unique expertise and a deep commitment to community service.
Raha Mosca (CPA, CMA, MBA)
Originally from Iran, Raha Mosca came to Canada in 2006 to study at UNB Saint John and now calls Rothesay home. A dedicated community volunteer, she has served on several local committees, including the UNB Alumni Council, KV Oasis Youth Centre, and various municipal boards. Professionally, Raha is a Planning & Business Intelligence Advisor at JD Irving and a past president of the CPA NB Greater Saint John Chapter. In 2019, she received the CPA NB Emerging Leader Award for her contributions to the profession and community.
Ken Pike
Ken Pike joined the Board in March 2025, bringing over 35 years of experience in disability advocacy and social policy. Before retiring in 2024, he was Director of Social Policy at Inclusion New Brunswick, where he championed reforms in areas like supported decision-making, housing, and inclusive education. Ken is a recipient of the 2008 NB Human Rights Award, was inducted into the Bertha Wilson Honour Society, and joined the Order of New Brunswick in 2020.
Serene Allen (BBA, CPHR, PMP)
Serene Allen is Vice President of Strategy & Performance at Port Saint John, where she leads key areas including finance, IT, and organizational strategy. A UNB graduate and certified HR and Project Management professional, she brings over a decade of leadership experience. Serene also serves on the boards of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce and the Saint John Seafarers Mission, reflecting her strong commitment to community and leadership.
