Celebrating Impact, Together!

Over 400 guests gather to honor local charities, share impact stories, and look ahead to 50 years of community giving.

On Thursday, The Community Foundation welcomed over 400 guests to its annual Impact Showcase & Luncheon, an inspiring afternoon dedicated to celebrating local philanthropy, community collaboration, and the incredible work being done by charitable organizations in Greater Saint John.

The event highlighted 22 local charities that received grant funding in 2024, with each organization playing a vital role in strengthening and uplifting our community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand impact stories from grant recipients, showcasing how these funds are making a tangible difference in areas such as youth services, mental health, food security, and education.

In addition to celebrating grantees, the Foundation also introduced several new endowment funds and charitable partnerships, reflecting the growing generosity and commitment of individuals and families who want to give back in meaningful, lasting ways.

“Our Impact Showcase is one of the most important events of the year,” said Kelly Evans, President & CEO of The Community Foundation. “It brings together donors, fund holders, partners, and nonprofit leaders to celebrate the power of giving and remind us all why our work matters.”

This year’s luncheon was not only a look back at the successes of the past year—it was also a joyful moment to look ahead. In 2026, The Community Foundation will proudly mark its 50th anniversary, a milestone that will be celebrated with special events and continued investment in the community.

“We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us this year,” said Evans. “We can’t wait to celebrate 50 years of community impact with all of you next year.”
