50 Years of Impact: Investing in a Future Engineer

A graduate of Rothesay High School, Kenechukwu Johnbosco Uche has always been driven by a desire to learn, grow, and make a difference. This fall, he will begin studying for a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Alberta, taking the next step toward a promising future in the field of engineering.
That journey has been supported by the Allan Percival Smith Memorial Bursary, a fund established to honour Allan's memory while helping local students pursue their educational goals.
When notified that he had been selected as a recipient, Kenechukwu shared his gratitude:
"Thank you very much for awarding me the Allan Percival Smith Memorial Bursary. I am truly grateful for your generosity and support. This bursary will help me pursue my post-secondary education and reduce some of the financial stress associated with continuing my studies. Your investment in students like me is greatly appreciated and motivates me to work hard toward my goals."
