Established in 2026 by the Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception, the Outflow Ministry Fund reflects a long-standing legacy of compassion, service, and faith in action.
For generations, the Sisters have been dedicated to supporting priority populations across New Brunswick, with a particular focus on those experiencing poverty, marginalization, and social inequities. This fund continues that mission by investing in meaningful, community-based solutions in Greater Saint John.
The fund supports the work of Outflow Ministry Inc., a faith-based organization that walks alongside individuals living in poverty. Outflow provides practical, front-line support through programs that address some of the most urgent challenges in our community, including access to food, safe housing, employment support, and assistance with essential medical costs. Their work is rooted in dignity, relationship-building, and meeting people where they are.
The grants provided annually by this fund will help sustain and expand programs that offer tangible support to individuals and families, while also creating pathways toward stability and hope.
Guided by strong ethical investment principles, the fund reflects the Sisters’ commitment to responsible stewardship and values-based giving. Through this partnership with the Community Foundation, the Outflow Ministry Fund ensures that critical supports remain available to those who need them most, today and in the years ahead.
