The Local Environment Action Fund (L.E.A.F.)
The Local Environment Action Fund (L.E.A.F.) supports lasting environmental action in southwestern New Brunswick through science, restoration, and education — powered by ACAP Saint John and community support.
The Local Environment Action Fund (L.E.A.F.) is a permanent endowment fund created in 2025 by ACAP Saint John, in partnership with the Greater Saint John Community Foundation.
Rooted in over 30 years of environmental leadership, L.E.A.F. supports science-based research, habitat restoration, and environmental education throughout southwestern New Brunswick. Annual earnings from the fund help ACAP deliver hands-on programs — from water quality monitoring and wetland enhancements to classroom education and community engagement.
L.E.A.F. was established to ensure that environmental action in our region continues for generations to come. Even as challenges evolve, this fund will remain a stable source of support for the protection and stewardship of our local ecosystems.
By contributing to L.E.A.F., individuals, families, and organizations can help grow a lasting legacy for the environment — one that is rooted in science, powered by community, and built to last.
