The HCapt(N) Noël Kinsella Memorial Bursary is supported by the Naval Memorial Fund, established in 2019 by RUSI‑NB, HMCS Brunswicker, and the Community Foundation. While the Fund ensures the long-term care of the Naval Memorial commemorating the Battle of the Atlantic and those lost at sea in service to peace, it also invests in the future through education. The bursary supports post‑secondary students who are current or former members of HMCS Brunswicker or any New Brunswick–based Royal Canadian Sea Cadet unit, honoring naval service while encouraging academic achievement.
