Kelly Evans

President & CEO

Kelly Evans joined The Community Foundation movement in September of 2013. Kelly grew up in Halifax, and she and her family moved to Greater Saint John in 2007. As an established community developer, project manager and advocate for priority populations, Kelly has held senior positions within the public sector, including the Nova Scotia and the New Brunswick health care systems. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University, a Bachelor of Health Education degree from Dalhousie University and a Master in Adult Education degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. Kelly is Past-President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, New Brunswick Chapter and is currently sits on Community Foundations of Canada's Board of Directors. Kelly lives with her spouse in Kingston, New Brunswick.

Julie Sapsford

Executive Assistant

Julie Sapsford joined the Community Foundation in March 2025. Originally from Saskatchewan, Julie moved to New Brunswick in 2016. Julie brings experience in community initiatives, fundraising, and the non-profit world, and has lately been honing her administrative skills at post-secondary institutions. She holds a B.A. in History from the University of Saskatchewan and loves learning about the history and culture of the Maritimes. Julie and her young family live in Millidgeville.

Harry Daley

Director of Donor Relationships & Granting

Harry Daley joined the Community Foundation team in 2020 after serving as a committee and board member for over 8 years. Harry brings experience as a strategic thinker, facilitator, and community builder. He has dedicated his professional life to supporting community development initiatives both locally and internationally. In 2018 he was the recipient of the YMCA’s Leader to Watch Award for his commitment to community and empowering young people in Saint John. He holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Leadership from UNB’s Renaissance College and is constantly seeking opportunities to listen, learn, and grow. Harry and his young family are proud residents of the city’s South End.

Sarah Frauley

Director of Finance & Administration

Sarah Frauley joined The Community Foundation in October 2021. She is a graduate of St. Thomas University in Fredericton, with a B.A. focused on Psychology and History that has led to a lifelong love of learning. She has developed a focus on accounting and administration throughout her professional career and continuously strives to broaden her skills. She is born and raised in greater Saint John, and currently resides with her family in Smithtown, NB.

Trisha Erb

Director of Marketing & Events

Trisha Erb joined The Community Foundation in December of 2017.  She previously worked with the Saint John Sea Dogs for six years as the Office Manager/Community Engagement Coordinator while also serving as the Coordinator for the Sea Dogs Foundation. With a move to Calgary, AB in 2011, Trisha served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Hockey Canada, and later in Edmonton, AB as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Vice-Chair of the Oilers Entertainment Group/Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club. Trisha lives in Hampton, NB.

Carrie Tanasichuk

Director of Impact Measurement & Evaluation

Carrie Tanasichuk joined the Community Foundation in March of 2020. She has 14 years of experience in research and evaluation. She is passionate about using her expertise to help organizations demonstrate impact, improve, and innovate. She has worked across sectors (non-profit, for-profit, government) in diverse areas, including poverty reduction, youth development, criminal justice, health promotion and screening, and technology. She has a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan.
